What a club evening looks like
Our meetings start at 18:45 and are held in English. Guests are always welcome, any time of the year, free of charge and without obligation.
An evening in six steps
Arrive and get to know people
Come a few minutes before 18:45. Someone will welcome you, give you an agenda and explain the roles of the evening.
Opening
The Toastmaster of the evening opens the meeting, introduces the programme and the people in each role.
Prepared speeches
Members give speeches from their Pathways projects, usually five to seven minutes long.
Table Topics
Impromptu speaking. The Table Topics Master asks a question and you answer for one to two minutes. Guests are welcome to volunteer.
Evaluations
Every speech gets constructive feedback. Timer, Ah-Counter and Grammarian give their reports.
Closing
Awards for the best speaker, evaluator and Table Topics answer. Guests are invited to share their impressions.

Do I have to give a speech as a guest?
No. You can simply watch. If you feel like it, you can join the Table Topics, short impromptu answers of one to two minutes. Nobody is pushed on stage.
Is my English good enough?
If you can follow this page, yes. Most of our members are not native speakers. Everyone is here to improve, and feedback focuses on how you communicate, not on perfect grammar.
Does a visit commit me to anything?
No. As a guest you can visit twice for free. Then you decide whether you want to grow with us.
What does membership cost?
99 euros per half year, paid in March and September, plus a one-time new member fee of 30 euros. In your first half year you only pay for the months that are left. That includes full access to the Pathways education program.
Ready for your first evening with us?
We meet at three locations in Frankfurt, always at 18:45. Book a free guest ticket and simply come along. It costs you nothing but a little courage.
